The ranges listed below are good basic ranges to consider when
you are classifying voices or picking music. There are always
singers who differ from these standardized ranges but these will
be accurate across the range of singers.
Remember that the full range is possible but not for all singers. The best range is the range that most singers will be able to
sing most of the time. The more you keep your music within the
best range, the less problems you will face during rehearsals and
performance. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't ever go
beyond it, just be prepared when you do.
