Activities:
Introduce the activity by telling the children some of the activities you
participate in during Thanksgiving holidays, such as cooking and eating.
Ask the children what kind of things they do with their family or friends on
this holiday. Ask questions that help children recall information
using specific action words. Use the white board to list all the
action words (verbs) that the children call out. Let the children
choose three words, making sure that there is variation in the number of
syllables.
Process:

Say the words as a class.
-
Divide the class into three
sections. Assign a different word to each group.

groups starting with the one syllable word.
