The Queen of Hearts
by Mother GooseThe Queen of Hearts
She made some tarts,
All on a summer's day;
The Knave of Hearts
He stole the tarts,
And took them clean away.
The King of Hearts
Called for the tarts
And beat the Knave full sore;
The Knave of Hearts
Brought back the tarts
And vowed he'd steal no more.

Old King Cole
by Mother GooseOld King Cole
Was a merry old soul
And a merry old soul was he;
He called for his pipe
And he called for his bowl,
And he called for his fiddlers three.
Now every fiddler, he had a fiddle
And a very fine fiddle had he;
Tweedle dee, tweedle dee,
went the fiddlers.
Oh there's none so rare,
As can compare
With King Cole and
His fiddlers three. |
