Making music with young musicians is fun. However, from time to time we get stuck. Possibly we can't seem to find the right visual imagery to get a student to sing more lightly, or we can't remember the particular rehearsal technique that will help our orchestra end the slow passage without sounding like a train wreck.

This site is intended to help you make music with students of all ages by providing ideas and information about specific problems common to all specialists in your discipline. Within these pages you will find teaching tips and "tricks of the trade" for music educators of all levels.
