TEKS for English Language Arts and Reading
Kindergarten

The lesson plans on these pages are organized by the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).  Each lesson integrates musical elements, allowing the educator to see the entire curriculum in a musical way.

All of these lessons were written by Stephen F. Austin State University elementary education students.  You are welcome to implement any of these lessons in your classroom or use them as a source for integrating music in your regular classroom activities.
